PURPOSE:To smoothly supply a filament coil by providing in a shoot that slides the coil down, a number of gates that can be opened and closed, a mechanism that detects the existence or nonexistence of the coil and its entangling, and a defective coil removing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A filament coil 2 of a bulb or the like is forwarded to a shoot 5 from an oscillation-type parts feeder 1 and is slided down and then is supplied to a rack feeder 7 through a falling section 6. In this case, gates 9 to 11 that can be opened and closed by cylinders 12 to 14 are spaced on the way to the shoot 5 at regular intervals over the full length of the coil 2 and the opening and closing of th gates 9 to 11 is controlled by arranging the detectors 16 to 18 that detect the existence or nonexistence of the coil 2. Besides, the detector 17 detects a defect such as the entangling of the coil 2 or the like and actuates a removing mechanism, thereby automatically eliminating the defect. As a result, only normal products can accurately be supplied and their productivity can be improved sharply. |
