PURPOSE:To omit incorporation of a storage device into a titled device, to realize high-speed processing and to reduce the load of an arithmetic processing part, by always comparing an analog variable with an input value and, only when the input value is larger or smaller than the analog variable, automatically executing AD conversion to send the converted digital value to the arithmetic processing part. CONSTITUTION:When a process signal larger than a prescribed analog value which is inputted through a sample holding circuit 1, AD converting circuit 2 and DA converter 6 is inputted to a comparator 7, the circuit 7 generates pulses to apply a holding command to the circuits 1, 2 through an OR circuit 8, the circuit 1 holds a newly inputted process signal and the circuit 2 converts the input signal into a digital signal. When a process input signal is smaller than the analog value, the comparator 7 outputs no pulse and the circuits 1, 2 hold original values. Consequently the output of the circuit 2 holds the maximum value, which is sent to an arithmetic processing part 4 and updated by a conversion command 5'. Thus incorporation of a storage device into a titled device is unnecessary, making it possible to attain high-speed processing. |
