Coated polyurethane molded parts are prepd. by reaction injection molding in a mold which has previously been surface coated with a coating compn. contg. a plyurethane catalyst which acts to bond the coating to the molded part with firm adhesion. Thus, a resin component of ehtylene oxide-capped polypropylene glycol contg. 20% acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer and ethylene glycol chain extender, dibutyltin dilaurate catalyst, and Freon 11 blowing agent was heated to 95↿F and mixed at 1600 psig with 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate at the isocyanate-resin ratio 0.72:1.
