PURPOSE:To improve the dimentional accuracy and toughness and to facilitate easy production for a magnetic disk cartridge, by unifying two sheets of thermoplastic cover members which are formed separately. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge contains two square sheets of thermoplastic cover members 11 and 12 which are formed separately, two liner layers 13 and 14 provided inside the members 11 and 12, and a magnetic disk 15 set between the layers 13 and 14. The vertically raised wall parts 11a and 12a are formed at the fringe parts of the members 11 and 12 respectively, and a raised stage part 12b is formed inside the corner part of the member 12. This part 12b functions to control the rotary space of a disk 15 also to join the members 11 and 12 together. |
