<p>PURPOSE:To realize the operability convenient for the carrying purpose, by forming a tape recorder itself with a size which is approximately equal to a cassette case and deciding the forms and locations of controllers so that the user can easily operate the tape recorder. CONSTITUTION:A pair of reel shafts 16 and 17 are projected in a tape cassette storing part 14 to be fitted to the reel hubs of the tape cassette. An operating part 18 and a window part 19 are provided nearly at the center part of a cassette cover 12. The part 18 consists of controllers 20-23 for reproduction, fast forward, rewind and stop modes respectively. The reproduction controller 20 is set at the tape exposure face side of the tape cassette and not opposite to the plane part of the tape cassette of the cover 12. The fast forward and rewind controllers 21 and 22 are set opposite to each other so as to include rotary shafts 161 and 171 on the shafts 16 and 17 which are set at the take-up side in the fast forward and rewind modes.</p> |
