PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor having panchromatic spectral sensitivity and superior durability, by providing a photoconductive layer consisting of a mixture of zinc oxide and amorphous silicon dispersed into an organic polymer resin binder in an electrophotographic receptor. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer contg. a photoconductive material dispersed into a binder is formed on a substrate. As said photoconductive material, a mixture of an inorg. photoconductor, such as zinc oxide or cadmium oxide, and amorphous silicon is used, and as the binder, an org. polymer resin, such as acrylic resin, is used, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic receptor to have panchromatic spectral sensitivity to 400-800 nm wavelength light, and to be applied to a wide range of originals, nonpolluting the environment, extremely low in deterioration due to repeated charging and exposure of the photoconductive material and the binder, and superior in durability. |
