PURPOSE:To improve the shelf stability of a magnetic head at a high temperature and high humidity, by forming a dummy block of the magnetic head with an Fe-Ni alloy. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 1 is formed by storing cores 2 and 2' formed by laminating amorphous magnetic alloy thin plates and a dummy block 3 into a shielding case 4 made of ''Permalloy '', etc. The block 3 is formed with an Fe- Ni alloy which contains 33-98wt% Fe, 1-40wt% Ni and <=15wt% Cr. As far as the Fe-Ni alloy contains the ranges of Ni, Fe and Cr contents, >=1 kind of other elements such as Mn, Si is incorporated to Fe, Ni and Cr to reduce partial wear and improve corrosion resistance. |
