PURPOSE:To execute scanning at a high speed, by simultaneously scanning plural scanning lines by a hologram disk. CONSTITUTION:A light beam from a laser 1 is changed as to its longitudinal and lateral beam diameter ratio by a beam converter 2, and is irradiated to a space modulator 3. As for the modulator, it is obtained by arraying plural optical modulators using an electrooptical effect in one-dimension, but when an acoustic-optical modulator driven by multi-frequency is used, it is also possible to convert an angle-deflected output light from the modulator, to position deflection by a lens, without changing the longitudinal and lateral ratio of an irradiating beam 4. A hologram disk 5 executes scanning of the number of times of scanning which is equal to the number of holograms, by its one rotation, but since each hologram is arranged so that an image of the space modulator 3 is formed on a scanning surface 16, scanning of the number of scanning lines, which is equal to the number picture elements of the space modulator is executed simultaneously. |
