PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic having high safety, excellent feeling and physical properties and low oiliness, and giving refreshing, moist and smooth feeling to the skin, by compounding an oil derived from a deep-sea fish. CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic is prepared by using a clear liquid wax having light yellow color, obtained from a deep-sea fish, and composed mainly of an ester of an unsaturated fatty acid and an unsaturated alcohol, as an active component. The deep-sea fish is e.g. orange raffy, Ruvettus pretiosus, coelacanth, ABURASOKOMUTSU, KUROMATOODAI, etc. For example, the oil is collected from the tissue between the skin and the flesh of orange raffy which is a representative deep-sea fish which can be fished in a particular area near New Zealand at a depth of 1,000m. The constituent components of the oil are composed of 16-20C unsaturated fatty acids and 18-22C unsaturated alcohols. The stability of the cosmetic is improved by using the oil in combination with an antioxidant such as vitamin E, BHT, BHA, anthracine, etc. |
