PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material causing no reduction in the coloring density and no increase in fog even if it contacts gaseous formaldehyde in a period of preservation prior to color development, by adding glycoluril to a constituent layer of a sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:Glycoluril represented by formulaI(where each of R1, R2 and R3 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl or acyl, and each of R4 and R5 is H or alkyl), e.g., the compound represented by formula II is used. A high molecular deriv. prepared by bonding glycoluril to a high molecular chain through R1, R2 or other group may be used. About 0.01-10g/m<2> said glycoluril is added to a constituent layer of a sensitive material, preferably a silver halide emulsion layer or a protective layer laid at the outside of the emulsion layer. Said method is especially effective when applied to a sensitive material contg. a 4-equiv. magenta coupler.
