PURPOSE:To surely and stably start a horizontal output circuit, by providing a start pulse supply circuit using a constant voltage diode, between a DC power supply input terminal of a TV receiver and a gate of a silicon controlled rectifying element. CONSTITUTION:Between an output terminal 8 of a rectifying and smoothing circuit 7 of a TV receiver and a gate electrode 27 of a silicon controlled rectifying element 13, a resistor 40, a constant voltage diode 41, a smoothing capacitor 42, a horizontal oscillation circuit and a pre-drive circuit 44, and a diode 46 are connected to form a start pulse supply circuit 47. An unregulated DC input voltage B1 at a terminal 8 is divided and stabilized with the resistor 40 and the impedance of the circuit 44 to drive the circuit 44. The circuit 44 generates a start pulse and gives the pulse to the gate electrode 27 to turn on the element 13, and a DC output voltage B2 is risen to be a rated value and a horizontal output circuit 14 is driven. Thus, the horizontal output circuit can be started surely and stably without being restricted with the power supply voltage. |
