PURPOSE:To prevent discoloration of external faces of a muffler main unit, by providing enclosed expansion chambers, in which emission of exhaust from a place between a rear opening end of the muffler main unit and the peripheral edge of a tail plate, closing said rear opening end, is blocked, in an exhaust muffler of an engine for an autobicycle. CONSTITUTION:For exhaust gas in the second silencer chamber c to leak out from a place between the rear end internally peripheral surface of a muffler main unit 1 and the peripheral edge of a tail plate 6, the exhaust in the second silencer chamber c firstly flows in through a welded joint part 15 or 17 as the first stage, then enters the first expansion chamber E1. Further the exhaust flows in through a welded joint part 16 as the second stage to enter the second expansion chamber E2, still further flows in through a welded joint part 18 as the third stage. In consequence, energy of the exhaust is lost, and the exhaust flows in a tail pipe 10 from a silencer chamber b, and is emitted to the outside. |
