The tiling roof is made up of rows of tiles each having an arcuate part (1a), installed with its concave face downwards. A planar part (1b) projects horizontally from one side. The tiles are positioned so that the rounded part (1a) of one row overlaps the planar part (1b) of the adjacent row. The two upper tiles (2,3) in each row can slide w.r.t. one another allowing the length of each row to be adjusted without the need to cut the tiles. The top tile (3) pref. incorporates a series of parallel grooves (10) into which the coping stones locate.
