PURPOSE:To perform a stable feed paper work by changing the motor rotating speed in accordance with the wear of a feed paper roller so as to keep the conveying speed of the paper invariably at a constant value. CONSTITUTION:If a feed roller 4 is worn and its diameter becomes small, the peripheral speed of the roller 4 is reduced when a step motor 7 is rotated at the same rotating speed. As a result, when a sensor 12 detects the tip of a recording paper and printing is performed after a time delay, the printed position is displaced to a position biased toward the tip of the recording paper. If the displacement has become large to an intolerable extent, individual switches 81A of a DIP switch of a motor rotation control section 8 is operated so that the digital quantity 85 is increased by an amount nearly corresponding to the current printing dislocation, and the frequency of an excitation signal 88 is increased, thus correcting the rotating speed of the step motor 7, and the feeding speed of the recording paper by the feed roller 4 is recovered to a desired speed. |
