PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled bottle being excellent in adhesiveness and a gas barrier property, etc. by a method wherein a vinylidene chloride copolymer is applied on the surface of a thermoplastic resin parison wherein molecular orientation is possible, and then a copolymer layer is crystallized by stretch molding. CONSTITUTION:The water latex or organic solvent solution of a vinylidene chloride copolymer having the solid concentration of 20-65% and the viscosity of 3-500 cps is applied 0.5-40mu thick on one or both surfaces of a parison, a preliminary molded substance or a sheet for molding a bottle, which is obtained by heat molding of thermoplastic resin (ex. PP) wherein molecular orientation is possible, and it is dried for 2sec to 100hr at the temperature of 40-150 deg.C, whereby a coating layer is formed. Next, this coating composition is crystallized under the conditions expressed by the formulaIand II[wherein T is the temperature of heat teatment ( deg.K); t is a time required for treatment (sec); and k is a constant according to the kind of the vinylidene chloride copolymer (5>=k>= 0.5)]so that the degree of crystallization of the coating layer is 0.5 or above, while stretch molding, such as biaxially-stretching blow molding and draw molding, is applied thereto. |
