RADIOACTIVE GAS ANALYZER

PURPOSE:To improve the dilution accuracy of a radioactive sample gas sampled with a simple construction by delivering a specific capacity of the radioactive gas through a take-off valve to a dilution vessel to which a compressed diluted gas is fed. CONSTITUTION:For example, a radioactive sample gas sampled from a storage vessel of a boiling water reactor flows out to a drain tube 4 via a take-off space 14 formed by a notch 3 of a take-off valve 11 via a sampling tube 4. As the valve 11 is turned by 180 deg., a fixed amount of the sample gas in the space 14 is deliveed to a diluting section 13 to which a constant amount of diluted gas compressed through a valve 16 is fed. Then, the sample gas diluted to a specified concentration by the diluting section 13 is introduced through a pressure regulator 19 without use of a pump or the like. This improves the dilution accuracy of the sample gas with a simple construction eliminating the need for flow regulation or the like thereby assuring an accurate analysis of a radioactive gas.
