PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality images with high speeds by a method in which a visualizer is allowerd to fly out and then adhered to a recording medium by the mutual action between a magnetic field and an image signal current on the basis of Fleming's left hand rule. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 1 is made up of a magnet 2 whose N and S poles are faced each other in the longitudinal direction, M set of signal electrodes 5 and 6 facing toward the direction of the orthogonal crossing between the magnet 2 and the pole, and a visualizer 8 composed of a conductive fine powder packed in an opening 7 formed by the magnet 2 and supporters 3 and 4 to support the electrodes 5 and 6. A recording medium 9 is sent to the upside of a head 1 through rollers 13 and 14 and a platen roller 15 from a paper supply cassette 12, a signal current is synchronously supplied from a recording controller 10 to the electrodes 5 and 6, the visualizer 8 is allowed to fly out of the opening 7 and adhered to the recording medium 9 on the basis of Fleming's left hand rule and then fixed by a heating roller 16, and then the recording medium is discharged onto a tray 18 by a paper discharge roller 17. |
