PURPOSE:To increase fineness of ending portions and eliminate occurrence of small projections or the like when untwisted yarn ends are integrally interconnected by air jet heating and enveloping them, by gripping securely fibers constituting the untwisted yarn end. CONSTITUTION:Yarn ends YB, YP attracted into control nozzles 19, 20 by the operation of yarn bising levers 28, 29 and yarn holding levers 16, 17 are pulled into an ending hole 5 of an ending member 2, located and set to the condition that the yarn ends to be dnded are superposed. A fiber constituting yarn ends then passed through the control nozzles 19, 20 is attracted and attached closely to charged plates 10, 11 so that the yarn in the ending hole 5 is under the somewhat tensioned condition. The ending is carried out under such condition by the action of compressed fluid injected from a injection nozzle 7. |
