PURPOSE:To make it possible to collect steam 100% continuously and automatically by connecting in parallel a plurality of trap pipings to the steam supply source and selecting trap pipings for use according to the steam condensation state. CONSTITUTION:In a case such as measuring moisture content in an insulation material, a plurality of trap pipings 2a-2d are connected in parallel to the steam supply source 1 of the insulation material moisture that is evaporating. A trap 3 is U-shaped, and the steam is cooled by supplying liquid nitrogen from a liquid nitrogen vessel 14. If air that contains steam is supplied to the trap 2a when the liquid nitrogen is being supplied, the steam condenses in the trap 3. When the air amount decreases in a flowmeter 21 due to freezing in the piping 2a, the piping 2b is selected through a flow rate detection device 22, and electro-magnetic valves 4 and 5 closes and an electro-magnetic valve 7 opens, and the condensed water is measured by a mess cylinder 8, and the pipings are successively changed over and used. In this way the steam is collected and measured successively and the moisture is measured. |
