A closed lighting fixture which is fastened on a rail and comprises a reflector (1), a lamp (21) arranged in the reflector, for example a mercury-vapour lamp, a protective glass (15) and a housing (2) for accommodating a load inductor (11) and the like, the adjoining seal to be opened for replacement of the lamp (21) being located in the housing (2). The adjoining seal divides the lighting fixture into two parts of which the first part (3), on which the lampholder (10) and the lamp (21) are mounted, is fastened in a stationary fashion to a support rail (8), and the second part, which comprises the reflector (1) and the protective glass (15), which form a lamp chamber (16), can be displaced along with the support rail (8) in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the lamp (21) through a distance which is longer than the total length (L) of the part of the lampholder (10), projecting into the lamp chamber (16), and of the incandescent lamp (21), so that the entire lamp (21) can be uncovered from the lamp chamber (16).
