Production stand especially for assembly work. The production stand includes a table plane adjustable in height and means (1, 2), moving with the table plane and preferably adjustable in the lateral direction, for receiving a jig (3) for an apparatus to be assembled. The jig (3) is rotatably mounted in the receiving means and is lockable in different positions, thereby leaving both hands of the employee free for the assembly work.
