LOCKING DEVICE, PARTICULARLY FOR BICYCLES

Locking device for securing objects, in particular bicycles, comprising two frame parts (4, 5) which are movable relative to each other between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position the frame parts enclose the object in question and can be locked by means of a separate lock cassette (16) which is insertable into a lock casing (10) on one of the frame parts (4) and lockable in inserted position while positively engaging the other frame part in the closed position. The engaging means, which effect the positive engagement between the lock cassette and the other frame part, are disposed in a protected, enclosed portion of the locking device.
