A DENTAL INSTRUMENT FOR OPTIMAL POSITIONING OF AN X-RAY FILM SUPPORT

Film supports which are exposed in X-raying of teeth and solving the problem to attain a sure positioning of the support (1). The support is provided with an aligning rod (8) and a bite block. According to the invention the bite block consists of two portions (4, 5), which are pivotably connected so that their planes may be brought into positions parallel to planes through the bite surfaces of the upper and lower jaw independent of the opening angle of the jaws.
