PURPOSE:To obtain a stable optical signal, by providing a heater, blast device, temperature sensor and luminance sensor, in a lamp house provided with a fluorescent lamp and liquid crystal light shutter array, and controlling a temperature of the fluorescent lamp and the liquid crystal shutter. CONSTITUTION:Into a lamp house 12 of a fluorescent lamp 2, heating air is fed through a heater 13 and blast device 22, its temperature is detected by a temperature sensor 14, and by its ouput, an electric power supply 23 of the heater 13 is controlled through a temperature controller 28. By an output of a luminance sensor 16, a high frequency driver 24 of the fluorescent lamp 2 is controlled through a luminance controller 25. Also, a temperature of a liquid crystal device 1 is detected by a temperature sensor 10, and by its output, an electric power supply 27 is controlled through a panel temperature conroller 26. Light of the fluorescent lamp 2 passes through the liquid crystal device 1, and is provided to an optical fiber through a rod lens. Accordingly, a stable optical signal is obtained. |
