PURPOSE:To wash a light diffusing plate inexpensively with simple construction by detecting the stop signal of a conveying route for vessels and injecting washing water to the light diffusing plate according to the detection signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of a conveying route stops on account of full loading of a filling machine 3 with empty bottles or generation of a trouble, the stop signal thereof is detected and the brake is applied upon a star wheel 6. At the same time, the valves of an air nozzle 15 and a nozzle 16 for injection of washing water disposed along one side edge of a light diffusing plate 11 are opened. The air from the nozzle 15 intensifies the injecting force of washing water and the foreign matters 22 such as broken pieces and label scraps of the bottles on the plate 11 are flushed away into a discharge groove 17, whereby the diffusing plate is washed. |
