PURPOSE:To make it possible to supply a fuel gas at a flow rate suitable for ignition of a main burner by a method wherein the operation of outputting a drive signal from a control circuit to an electromagnetic pump and the operation of switching a valve in a fluid passage are combined with each other. CONSTITUTION:When the ignition of a pilot burner is ascertained, the control circuit D sends the drive signal to the valve 18 to open the latter and when the valve 18 is opened, the pressure in a pressure chamber 17 is transmitted also to a pressure chamber 20 through a passage 9. Thus, when the pressure in the pressure chamber 20 rises up to a first pressure, a responsive member 32 moves to a predetermined position midway in the moving range of the member 32 and only a second valve 49b is opened through a valve rod 52. Consequently, a fuel gas within a connecting passage 42 flows into an outlet passage 43 via a limited passage between the first valve 49a and the second valve 49b and is ignited by the pilot burner which is already on ignition. |
