PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of a fluid transferred by a hydraulic machine by a method wherein a flexible diaphragm is provided in a side passage connecting a space formed between two sealing means mounted on a rotary shaft and a space within a drive section so that both of the above mentioned spaces are separated hydraulically from each other. CONSTITUTION:The hydraulic machine 1 is connected to a motor 5 through the rotary shaft 4 provided with the sealing means 2 and 3 and the space 6 is formed between the sealing means 2 and 3. Further, a space 7 within a motor is connected to a vessel 9 having the flexible diaphragm 8 therein, through a side passage 10 and the space 6 is also connected to the vessel 9 through the flexible diaphragm 8. Consequently, when the pressure in the space 6 tends to vary, the balance between the pressure in the space 7 within the motor and that in the space 6 is lost and in order to keep the balance again, the fluid (a gas) in the space 6 flows through the side passage 10 to move the diaphragm 8 so that the gases passing through the sealing means 3 in both of the spaces 6 and 7 are prevented from flowing into each other. |
