The essential novel features of a flexible, symmetrical integrated MOS circuit arrangement and an appropriate architecture involving a unit cell or elementary cell for an individual connection technique include multiple contacts on individual source/drain elements, linear interconnections in the X-Y directions and connection crossunders which form an integral component with the source and drain regions of the individual devices. The arrangement is especially suitable for particularly complex complementary integrated MOS circuits.
