PURPOSE:To change easily setting of the decimal point, by changing position information of the decimal point if depression information of a decimal point key is already set when the decimal point key is depressed. CONSTITUTION:A key input part 1 is provided with a decimal point upper shift key a1 and a decimal point lower shift key a2. When the key a1 or a2 is depressed once in case of registration, this depression functions to set a decimal point; and when the key a1 or a2 is depressed twice or more, this depression functions to shift the decimal point for the change of positions of figures. A decimal point position controlling part 5 checks whether decimal point key depression information is already set or not to discriminate the first depression or the second and following depressions of keys a1 and a2; and in case of the first depression, decimal poit key depression information which is reset till then is set, then a decimal point setting signal d1 is outputted. In case of the second or following depression, the decimal point position shift function acts, and a decimal point position set changing signal d2 is outputted and is transmitted to an operating part 2, and decimal point position information is changed. |
