PURPOSE:To control inexpensively and surely the power source of a slave computer in a remote area, by switching and setting the summarized automatic power source control and the individual manual power source control by an automatic/manual switching circuit. CONSTITUTION:First, the automatic or manual power source control for a slave computer 58 in a remote place is set in an automatic/manual switching circuit 61. When the automatic power source control is set, power sources for respective devices constituting a master computer 51 and the slave computer 58 are automatically controlled in the lump by a system power source controller 52 in the side of the master computer 51. When the manual power source control is set, the remote power source control of a power source controlling circuit 60 for the computer 58 is disconnected from the summarized automatic power source controlling system due to the controller 52, and the manual control can be performed independently. In case of the automatic control, when a power-on indicating signal is issued from the controller 52, this signal transmitted to a digital multiplexing device 53 through a power source control signal receiving circuit 62 and a power source control signal transmitting circuit 63. The power source confirmation signal from the side of the computer 58 is transmitted from the device 53 to the controller 52 through a power source confirmation signal receiving circuit 64 and a power source confirmation signal transmitting circuit 65. |
