PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a compound consisting of a metallic material contacting with hot water and substances contained in the hot water by a method wherein a pinch valve comprising an elastic pipe is used at the valve section of the titled valve so that no metallic part of the valve is exposed at the sealing section of the valve. CONSTITUTION:An annular rib 13 is provided in the elastic pipe 10 forming the pinch valve, at a position between a flat section 11 of the bottom of the body 6 of the valve and a pinch plate 12 in such a manner that the annular rib 13 is held at a suitable angle of inclination with respect to the axis of the elastic pipe 10. With the above structure, when the pressure at the upstream side 17 of the valve becomes higher than a predetermined value, it acts on the wall 22 of the upstream side of the pipe 10 so that the pinch plate 12 is pushed upward against the force of a spring 2 by a force component resulting from the increasing pressure to thereby open the valve. On the other hand, when the pressure at the upstream side 17 of the valve becomes lower than the predetermined value, the valve is closed again due to the force of the spring 2. |
