PURPOSE:To improve an interlayer shearing strength and a compression strength, by a method wherein microparticles of a material having a high hardness are mixed in a fiber-reinforced leaf spring in which reinforcing fibers are composite-arranged in a matrix resin. CONSTITUTION:A fiber-reinforced resin leaf spring 1 is constituted such that reinforcing fibers 3 are composite-arranged in matrix resin 2. Micro-particles G of a material, having a high hardness, such as glass, silica, SHIRASU balloon, mica, silicon carbite, are mixed in the matrix resin 2. The mixing ratio of the microparticles G is brought to a highest value at a part in the proximity of the neutral axis X of the bend of the leaf spring 1, and the mixing ratio on a point in the spring decreases as further close to a surface layer part 1a or 1b, on which a tension stress or a compression stress is exerted. |
