<p>PURPOSE:To prepare the titled compound extremely useful in industrial field, in a short process, by the Michael addition reaction of an enone derivative with a phenylthio derivative in an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula III can be prepared by reacting the enone derivative of formulaI[R<1> is 1-10C alkyl; R<2> is H or -OR<21> (R<21> is OH-protecting group); X is -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH-, or -C C-]with the phenylthio derivative of formula II in an organic solvent at -100-+25 deg.C for 30sec-1hr. The reaction proceeds smoothly by the addition of hexamethyl phosphoramide to the system. EFFECT:Prostaglandins can be prepared easily, in high yield.</p> |
