PURPOSE:To calculate an extremely small quantity of leakage of water, by sampling leaked water mixed with methanol and measuring the moisture content by a karl Fischer method. CONSTITUTION:Leaked water in a closed room 4 leaked through a mechanical seal 5 is dissolved in methanol jetted from a circulation nozzle in a sample vessel 10 by a pump 14 through pipe conduits 13, 15, 11. A sample solution dissolved an extremely small quantity of leaked water is taken out from a takeout opening 26 by using a syringe 27 at every constant time unit and its weight is measured by a measuring device 2. The weight of the syringe 27 is measured by the device 2 after the sample is supplied and the accurate weight of the sample is calculated. The measurement of moisture content by a measuring instrument 3 is performed by a karl Fischer method. |
