PURPOSE:To attain high speed and accuracy of checking, by fetching an eye field pattern taking a specified area on a circuit board at a bundle, comparing the area electrically with the standard pattern stored in advance and checking the fitting state of parts. CONSTITUTION:A circuit board 1 fixed on an X-Y table 4 is illuminated with a ring projector 5 to form an optical area of field of vision 3. This area is formed on a photoelectric converter 6 and the arrangment pattern of circuit components 2a within the field at a binary coding circuit 7 as a binary coded electric signal. Further, the standard pattern of the circuit board being the objective of check is sequentially fetched from a floppy disc 14 to a circuit board discriminating circuit 9 at each field of vision unit, and the pattern is compared and discriminated with the field of vision pattern from the circuit 7 at a parts position discriminating circuit 8. Thus, the parts mounting state on the circuit board can be checked in high speed and reliability. |
