PURPOSE:To improve the matching between a flat antenna and a feeding circuit using microstrip lines, by constituting a circular arrangement array antenna through the use of microstrip antennas. CONSTITUTION:A flat circular cone beam antenna is formed with metallic plates 9 arranged in circle and constituting radiation elements, dielectrics 10, a metal base 11, earth pins 12 at the center, feeding pins 13, microstrip lines 14, and a coaxial line 15. A power distribution circuit is formed by distributing lines to each direction from the center of the circular arrangement of the radiation element metallic plates 9. The excitation to each radiation element is made to the same amplitude and phase, the direction of vector on the virtical axis through the center of the circular arrangement of electromagnetic field radiated from two counter radiation elements with each other is opposite and cancelled, allowing to obtain a circular cone beam. |
