PURPOSE:To set a work in a grinding device with large stiffness by clamping even minor works between a jig and a clamper firmly with the aid of a support pin. CONSTITUTION:A work W is supported rotatably by fitting a pin 10 in its central hole. The work is then pressed against a jig 5 by a clamper 13, and a stopper 18 is put in contact with the external surface of the work W for securer holding. A spindle 3 is put in rotation to turn the jig 5 and work W round the N-N axis, and a grinding wheel 9 grinds the surfaces W1, W3 of the work W. After processing, the stopper 18 is retracted, and the calmping is released. The work now possible to turn will rotate for 90 deg. following the rightwise moving pawl 26 at an indexing member 24. The work W is held again for grinding its remaining surfaces W2, W4. |
