PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate picture, by reading picture information through the scanning of a line sensor on an original paper mounted on a tablet board and correcting the uncorrected position of a picture through the detection of the position of the line sensor. CONSTITUTION:An original paper 1 is mounted on a magnetostrictive tablet board 2 and a hand scanner 3 scans on the paper 1. In the hand scanner 3, a line sensor 5 is arranged via an optical lens system 4 to read picture information on the paper 1 illuminated with an illuminated light source consisting of lamps 6a, 6b. The hand scanner 3 is assembled with a position detection mechanism consisting of two pickup coils 7a, 7b to detect the position of the line sensor 5 to the tablet board 2 in corporation with the tablet board 2. The position distortion of picture information can be corrected with the position detection signal. |
