PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength magnetic alloy provided with high strength in spite of the low Ni content by adding large amounts of Cu and Nb to a magnetic Ni-Fe alloy. CONSTITUTION:This high-strength magnetic alloy consists of, by weight, 55- 85%, preferably 55-80% Ni, 7-30%, preferably 10-30% Cu, 0.1-15%, preferably 1-10% Nb and the balance essentially Fe. This magnetic alloy has said reduced Ni content, and to increase the strength said proper amounts of Cu and Nb are added. To the composition may be added <=about 10% in total of additional elements such as Mo, Cr, W, V and Co. |
