PURPOSE:To cast the blasting material to the surface to be porcessed, in a hand blaster which has a function to collect the blasting material cast over surfaces to be processed, by supplying air from an air supply pipe and by allowing the material scratched off from the inside of the blasting material container to flow together with the air stream. CONSTITUTION:An air supply pipe 5 penetrating the center of a blasting material container 2 has its rear end in communication with an air supply device. The air is supplied in the condition that the front edge of an outer cylinder 8 is pushed against the surface to be processed. The air introduced from the tip of the pipe 5 passes the front edge 7a of a blasting material scratching member 7 to run against the surface to be processed 18, and after being reflected passes through a collecting duct 9 to reach the container 2. Therefrom the air is exhausted to the exhaust pipe side 13, when the container 2 will be rotated by this air which runs against a fan 11. The centrifugal force due to this rotation will lift the blasting material 17 in the container 2, and the blasting material 17 scratched off onto the front edge 7a of this scratching member 7 is supplied to the front of the pipe 5 to be cast on the surface 18. |
