PURPOSE:To facilitate decoloring in the stage of regenerating process, by dyeing a cellulose triacetate base by the use of a specific yellow dye. CONSTITUTION:A base of cellulose triacetate for electrophotography is dyed by using the color index disperse yellow 7 expressed by the chemical formula alone or in conjunction with other byes. When the base is dyed, the base is reused after decoloring. The decoloring of the base is accomplished by treating the base with an org. solvent to remove the dyes. The solvent used in this treatment is treated with carbon black, whereby the dyes are adsorbed. Yellow dyes have poor decolorability and adsoptivity on carbon black, but the disperse yellow 7 is superior in these properties. |
