PURPOSE:To announce a vehicle speed in a desired announcing mode by emitting a voice synthesized reading out a phonemic piece corresponding to the vehicle speed area according to a set mode with the searching of a corresonding vehicle speed area, the detection of changes in the vehicle speed area and the like. CONSTITUTION:An ROM9 of a microcomputer 6 is accessed to search a corresponding vehicle speed area by vehicle speed information through a vehicle speed sensor 1 and an analog-digital converter 3 to be written into an RAM 8. The preceding vehicle speeds are compared with subsequently searched vehicle speed area to detect possible changes in the vehicle speed area. On the other hand, a program is picked up from the ROM9 corresponding to an announcing mode selected with a mode changeover switch 23. A phonemic piece is read out corresponding to the vehicle speed area from an ROM11 through a CPU7 to control the vehicle speed voice synthesization and the like with a voice synthesizing means 12 based on the phonemic piece. Thus, a vehicle speed inciation sound is emitted in the desired announcing mode from a speaker 22 immediately after the alternation of the vehicle speed area, every desired time, at each variable time corresponding to the vehicle speed and at a random time or the like. |
