PURPOSE:To obtain a bent tube by a method wherein forming member composed of curing resin and reinforcement is wound about a tool for providing an elastic tube into which a pluality of circular pieces connected about a straight axis and fixed to the axis on both end of the circular pieces are built to form a cylinder and this tool is bent in an uncuring state. CONSTITUTION:Both of the projecting ends of a straight axis 3 are equipped rotatively in the bearings 7, 7 of a tube forming device A. As a forming tool 6 is rotated, a forming member 11 composed of curing resin and reinforcement is wound about the outer periphery of an elastic cylinder 5 to form a tube body 12. The forming tool 6 is removed from the tube formog device A, both projecting ends of the straight axis 3 are mounted on supporting columns 13, 13. In order that the straight axis 3 is bent to produce a desired curvature by the dead weight of the cylinder 12 formed on the elastic tube 5 or by the external force, the interval between the fixing members 4, 4 is set in advance and bending process is conducted to obtain a bent pipe of a desired curvature. |
