PURPOSE:To obtain a device with which a graph is inputted directly to a word processor or character display, etc., by providing a reader for converting a graph into an electric signal and a storage part for storing the output signal of the reader. CONSTITUTION:A reader for converting a graph into an electric signal and a storage part for storing the output signal of the reader are provided. For example, the reader 22 converts a graph into an electric signal, which is amplified by an amplifier 30 and inputted to a read control part 31; every time a stepping motor 25 is driven by one step, the signal from the amplifier 30 is fetched and supplied to a CPU32. Then, the CPU32 stores a memory 33 with the signal supplied from the read control part 31, and the contents of the memory 33 are converted through input and output interfaces 34 and 35 into a signal which can be outputted to an external device such as a character display, thereby outputting the signal. |
