PURPOSE:To separate a color video signal into a luminance and a chrominance signal, and to eliminate cross-color and ringing on a reproduction screen by outputting correlative parts of two out of three input signals as output signals when two out of three input signals have the correlative parts. CONSTITUTION:A color video signal (YL+YH+C) inputted to terminal 1 is supplied to a delay circuit 211 and an adding circuit 212, and a component 2(YH+ C) is extracted as shown in the figure through the adding circuit 212 and attenuated by an attenuator 29 before being applied to a correlating circuit 26. On the other hand, a signal 2(YH+C) is extracted by another adding circuit 222 as well, but this signal is delayed by one horizontal period and a half period of a color signal C through delay circuits 24 and 27 and phase-inverted to apply signals (-YH+C) and (YH+C) to the correlating circuit 26. When two out of said three input signals have correlative parts, the correlating circuit 26 outputs the correlative parts, i.e. the color signal C in this case. |
