PURPOSE:To darw the attention of a reception side by transmitting main-scanning-directional data at a mark part provided at the left edge of an original while performing black-and-white inversion. CONSTITUTION:At the left edge of an original 1, a black mark is provided and when main-scanning-directional data at this part is processed by run-length encoding, the run length of white is repleaced by run-length encoding of black and the run length of black is replaced by run-length encoding of white. Then, a main-scanning-direction part marked at the left edge of the original is inverted with regard to black and white, and recorded. |
