PURPOSE:To enable to readily weld in high quality a container of different shape by controlling the rotating speed of a motor in response to the moved distance from the rotational shaft of a cam of a pinch roller which is contacted with the cam of the same shape as a cap to be welded. CONSTITUTION:A container 200 for a semiconductor device superposed with a cap 201 is fixed on a table 14, and a cam 210 of the same shape as the cap 201 is fixed to a cam shaft 8. The cap 201 is urged at both ends with the prescribed pressing force with roller electrodes 50, 51, the cam 210 and the table 14 are rotated by a motor 1, and the rotations of the pinch rollers 31, 32 rotating to the rotation of the cam 210 are respectively transmitted through timing belts 35, 36 and pulleys 42, 43 to the electrodes 50, 51. At this time the operation of the pinch roller 32 approaching or retarding from the central direction of the cam 210 is transmitted to a potentiometer 122, thereby accelerating or decelerating the rotating speed of the motor 1 in response to the variation in the position of the pinch roller 32. |
