PURPOSE:To supply chieply a mesh electrode of good quality with no disconnection of a metal mesh by adhering a metal mesh to a base ring through a solder material. CONSTITUTION:A solution, wherein 4% of nitrocellulose is melted in butyl acetate, is applied to the faces, which are provided facing a metal mesh 11, of the first and the second base rings 12 and 13 and before said solution is dried up nickel powder is applied to form solder material layers 14 and 15. Subsequently the first and the second base rings 12 and 13 are put together through the solder material layes 14 and 15 so as to hold the periphery of the metal mesh 11 between to be placed on a fixed block 16, while the first base ring 12 is loaded with a weight 17 to be heat-treated in a reducing atmosphere so that the first and the second base rings 12 and 13 may adhere to each other through the nickel powder i.e. solder material. Finally a metal mold having fixed curved face is placed on the metal mesh 11 to be likewise heat-treated in the reducing atmosphere to complete a dome-shaped mesh electrode 20. |
