HIGH-SPEED REPRODUCING METHOD OF MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent high-speed reproducing signal free of the generation of noise by varying the angle of winding inclination of a magnetic tape around a magnetic drum during reproducing according to the feed speed of a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A drum motor 5 is controlled by a driving circuit 6 to obtain a reproducing video signal of desired frequency, and the rotary phase of this magnetic drum is detected by a tack head 12. Its detecting signal and a signal obtained by detecting a control signal recorded on a magnetic tape 1 are applied to a phase comparison 13 for phase comparison. Its phase comparsion output is applied to a driving circuit 8 to control a capstan motor 7. Consequently, magnetic tracks recorded on the magnetic tape 1 are put in phase with video heads equipped on the magnetic drum 4 during scanning to obtain an optimum output signal.
