PURPOSE:To improve the soundproofing effect and prevent rusting thereby to improve reliability, by employing a steel plate excellent in weatherability as either one of the outermost steel plates in a plurality of steel plates. CONSTITUTION:A vibration-damping steel plate 8 is constituted by a unitary arrangement of two steel plates 9A, 9B and an adhesive damping material 10 interposed therebetween. Since a steel plate excellent in weatherability, such as stainless steel plate and the like, is employed as one steel plate 9A, the vibration-damping steel plate 8 is directly welded to reinforcing stays 6 so that the steel plate 9A is on the side facing the outside air, to constitute a soundproof plate. Thus, it is possible to improve the soundproofing effect through suppression of vibrations aerially transmitted from a side plate 5 of a transformer tank 4 and transmitted from the reinforcing stays 6. In addition, it is possible to prevent rusting of the soundproof plate and improve the reliability thereof. |
